City of London
Gibson Hall is a stunning central London venue which is a converted banking hall located in the heart of the City of London with a secluded garden perfect for all types of events, including awards dinners and Weddings.
In 1862 the directors of the National Provincial Bank of England decided to rebuild their Head Office in Bishopsgate. The design was entrusted to John Gibson who became known for his rich classic style. John Gibson designed a series of banks, commercial buildings, town and country houses, churches, schools and even a mausoleum. In recognition of his work, the Royal Institute of British Architects awarded him their Gold Medal in 1890. The Gibson Hall is long regarded as his finest work and now bears his name.
We love the city location, and the sheer scale of the main hall: the distance between the dance-floor and those breath-taking ceilings.
